It is designed for beginners in the field of spatial analysis and covers the basics of remote sensing, geospatial data handling, and satellite image processing. By the end, participants will understand the fundamentals of water classification using threshold values and spectral indices, and will be able to identify and visualize flood extents from satellite imagery. This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in using remote sensing techniques to monitor natural disasters, particularly floods.
